O.k., so just saying I have been 'busy' is the understatement of the year. Maybe even of the century. Things have been C-R-A-Z-Y around here. I have been working like a mad woman to keep up with my business, and the house, and the kids, and all the events going on at Allie's preschool. It's a madhouse I tell ya. So... my apologies for neglecting the ole' blog.
Anyhoo... each year the preschool hosts a fund raiser called 'Snack with Santa.' The name in itself is pretty much self explanatory, but it's where the kids get to go make Christmas crafts, eat tons of good finger foods, watch a puppet show, and most importantly, they get to sit ole' Santa's lap. It's tons of fun for the kids... well... at least for those not afraid of poor Santa.
Sadly, I don't have any pictures to go with all the fun and excitement the evening offers. (((((gasp!!!))))) But I do have good reason. Each year I get play 'Santa's little photographic helper' (minus the kickin' elf outfit) and take all the kids pics with the jolly old man himself. Just like that poor gal you see in the mall trying to get a decent picture all while the poor, terrified kid is in full hysterics. I kid, I kid. It's not that bad. I actually really enjoy it. I only had two screamers out of about 60 or so kids. Not too shabby. Anyway... here are a few pictures of the kids with Santa to hold you over until I get a sec to post.

Those are great! I always feel so bad for the kids that are screaming & for Santa who got screamed at. I hope we can get pics that good of Elena at some point.

I hear you girl...no time to blog and for me just being in front of the puter has been making me sick too. Nausea, nausea go away!!!! Maybe I'll be back to blogging in a few more weeks. UGH.

Unfortunately my kid is one of the screamers. It comes from me for sure...David might get to start going to a mothers morning out program in Januray, and I'm the one having a hard time with it!
