Enough Carpet Science to become a Carpet Scientist...

The following is a list of things I have successfully cleaned off of my carpet today:

1. Beach Nut Chicken & Stars Baby Food (knocked off the coffee table by Allie, who was entering the third straight hour of demonstrating the 'Hokey Poky' dance she learned at school today.

2. Fecal matter from a 7 month old. (my guess would be Chicken & Apple Dinner and Garden Vegetables with a hint of breast milk if I had to guess based solely on color and texture)

3. Baby throw up (stemming from incidence #1. Ummmm, yea, note to self... Wyatt is not ready for the Stage 3 foods with texture yet... the chucks causes exorcist like vomiting spells)

This year for Christmas... forget Santa Claus. I want Stanley 'effing Steamer to come and visit my house. Or if Santa does come, he better be bringin' me some hardwood floors.

After all was said and done, I found Wyatt asleep like this...

Thinking this could not be the least bit comfortable, I attempt to move him which abruptly ended his one and only nap for the day.

Michael, my dear, sweet, love... when you finally return home this evening from your weekend of fun, just know this... IT'S YOUR TURN!!!! I'm need a break.

Further proof that babies have no spine! That's a cute picture.

My mom recommends the Woolite/Oxi carpet cleaner. I haven't tried it yet.

That's a cute picture but we had the same issue today. I tried to move Evan off of his daddy's arm and the nap was over. He went to bed really early though. We are going to try that Kiwi Carpet Cleaning service soon. Evan has added a lot to the carpet.

Babies aren't the only things that can stain a carpet... former bachelors and dogs do also. I want new carpet too.

P.S. Don't fall for the $29.99 "steam clean"... that literally means steam only. If you want soap it's $149. I know from experience.

Hey and don't be rentin' on of dem cheap steam cleaners from the grocery store either. We did that once only to find out the lady who used it before us used it to stain her carpet red. WHO DOES THAT???? Only in Statesboro. Um Yeah, red dye came out all over our carpet. Not cool.

Hardwood is not all that it is cracked up to be either. I will second Heather's mom on the Oxi clean. We have 2 dogs and their envy of the baby is making for "accidents" on what carpet we do have.
